Apple’s Mac Mini vs. Mac Pro vs. the Mac Studio

Apple’s Peek Performance event confirmed many of the last-minute rumors, revealing that we’ll have a new small Mac computer to look forward to. The new Mac Studio may be configured with either the M1 Max or the new M1 Ultra CPU, as you might expect. The Mac Studio comes with an incredible amount of connectivity choices in addition to a powerful processor.

The Mac Studio looks eerily similar to the Mac Mini 2020. This model of the Mac Mini, according to Chris Welch’s assessment, featured a “appealing price for the power it offers.” And it delivered “blazing performance,” thanks in part to the M1 CPU.

The Apple Mac Pro, which launched in 2019 is on the other end of the spectrum. That exorbitantly priced PC had a weird, yet distinct design, and was targeted towards power users who could successfully harness the power it provided.

For a more detailed comparison, we’ve provided a graphic below that compares the Mac Studio’s brand new M1 Max and M1 Ultra configurations to the Mac Mini’s M1 model and the monolithic Mac Pro.

While the Mac Studio and the M1 Ultra CPU were clearly the stars of the show, Apple also unveiled a new display, as well as new iPhone SE and iPad Air models.
