A detailed price breakdown for Hulu and Hulu Live TV packages – after a $1 price rise, plans now start at $7

Hulu is one of the most popular streaming services on the market, with a variety of subscription options. With many subscription packages and an ever-growing list of add-ons, keeping track of Hulu’s various charges can be difficult.
We’ve put together a graphic below that shows you exactly what each of Hulu’s four subscription options — Hulu, Hulu (No Ads), Hulu + Live TV, and Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV — will bring you for your money. There’s also a rundown of Hulu’s numerous add-ons.
If Hulu isn’t enough, learn how to get Hulu packaged with Disney Plus and ESPN+ for $14 per month.

How much does Hulu cost?

Hulu’s basic package costs $7 per month or $70 per year, giving it a more affordable option than HBO Max ($10) and Netflix ($10). This package is much cheaper for college students, costing only $2 per month.
All of Hulu’s on-demand programs are ad-supported with the basic option. Upgrade to Hulu’s premium plan for $13 per month to get ad-free streaming.
Hulu subscribers who want live TV in addition to the on-demand content have a few choices. Hulu + Live TV costs $70 a month and includes access to over 75 live TV channels, as well as Disney Plus and ESPN+. Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV is also available for $76 per month.
Hulu’s entire repertoire of on-demand shows and movies is available at all four levels of subscription, including Hulu original series such as “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Nine Perfect Strangers,” current TV faves such as “Atlanta,” and classic comedy such as “I Love Lucy.”

If you do the math, you can save $8 per month by bundling your services rather than paying for each one separately. Hulu’s ad-free plan is also available for $20 a month in a discounted bundle. The package can be purchased here.

You can also upgrade to a package if you already have a Hulu plan. Detailed details on how to upgrade to a bundle can be found here.

Is the Disney Plus and ESPN+ bundle included with Hulu + Live TV?

Previously, Hulu + Live TV subscribers had to pay extra for the Disney bundle, but it is now included with all Hulu + Live TV subscriptions.
