Nvidia GeForce Now has recently made trying out its high-end RTX 3080 tier a lot easier

Nvidia GeForce Now is currently one of the greatest gaming streaming services available. It’s backed by one of the most well-known names in PC gaming, and it has a wider selection of games and services than competitors like Stadia (whenever Google actually remembers it exists). In December, GeForce Now introduced a new, more expensive RTX 3080 subscription tier, allowing gamers to enjoy top-class gaming without having to deal with internet scalpers. While high-performance cloud gaming used to require a six-month commitment, it’s now lot easier — and cheaper — for newbies to enjoy.

Users can now pay for the RTX 3080 tier in 1-month increments rather than six months in advance, according to Nvidia’s blog. It will cost you $19.99 per month to rent your own cloud-based RTX 3080. It’s a significant increase above the normal $9.99 GeForce Now membership, but if you want the finest performance, this is the way to go. On PCs and Macs, it supports 1440p and 120fps, while Shield TV devices offer 4K and 60fps. You can also enjoy ultra-low latency, eight-hour session lengths, and complete control over your in-game graphic options.
If you’d rather spend more money, a 6-month subscription is still available for $99.99. It’s certainly the smarter choice if you want to invest in it long-term, as you’ll get one month free with your purchase. Given that this tier is twice as pricey as the ordinary tier, it’s quite generous. Founders – subscribers who have been with Nvidia since the beginning — get a 10% discount on their subscription and can upgrade without losing their “Founders for Life” designation.
If you’re a GeForce Now subscriber interested in seeing what an RTX 3080 can achieve in the cloud, now is the time to upgrade.
