While Windows allows you to add and remove Bluetooth devices, you will have to jump through a few hoops to get things to work correctly. Microsoft, on the other hand, is hoping to remedy this with a Windows 11 upgrade that improves how you utilize Bluetooth on your PC.
Changes to Bluetooth Devices in Windows 11 by Microsoft
Getting to the Bluetooth settings is a bit of a pain right now. The Bluetooth panel is available in the Quick Settings panel, but it’s limited; you can simply switch it on and off. To perform anything more involved, like we discussed in our article on how to utilize Bluetooth on Windows 11, you’ll need to go into the Settings panel.
According to The Verge, Microsoft is working on making the procedure in Windows 11 much speedier. Microsoft is improving the Bluetooth Quick Settings menu, as shown in Windows 11 Insider Build 22563, so you can pair and unpair devices right away.

Not only that, but connected devices will use this new interface to disclose their battery levels. This means you won’t have to go into the Settings panel to see how much battery life your headphones have.
Bluetooth Settings in Windows Get a Much-Needed Makeover
If you’ve ever had to fiddle with your Bluetooth devices on Windows, you know how difficult it is to find the settings. Before you can pair or disconnect anything, you must dig fairly far into the Settings page.
As a result, it’s encouraging to see Microsoft making device management more user-friendly. Especially by making it simple for users to check the battery levels of their devices, which was previously a bother.
Bluetooth is no longer a dirty word.
